RF Energy Toolkits

MACOM announced that its RF Energy Toolkits are now available for order, meeting surging customer demand for a flexible and cost-effective development platform that helps accelerate their time to market with high-performance, power efficient solid-state RF systems. Targeted for use in commercial markets ranging from cooking, lighting and industrial heating/drying to medical/pharmaceutical, automotive ignition systems, and beyond.


Power Sensors for IoT Bluetooth Testing

LadyBug Technologies’ LB479A and LB480A are ideal for testing Bluetooth devices. The sensors have very good dynamic range and are suitable for measuring radiated power as well as direct connectivity to the Bluetooth DUT. Both sensors provide statistical pulse measurement capability. This capability is ideal for manufacturing test systems where a quick numerical measurement of average and pulse power is required without complex measurement set up. The LB480A includes triggering features along with pulse profiling capability.

1.8 to 6.5GHz Broadband Power MMIC

AMCOM’s AM206041WN-SN-R is a broadband GaN MMIC power amplifier. It has 30dB gain, and 41dBm CW output power over the 1.8 to 6.5GHz band. The AM206041WN-SN-R is in a ceramic package with a flange and straight RF and DC leads for drop-in assembly. Because of high DC power dissipation, good heat sinking is required. The package is RoHS compliant. This MMIC is matched to 50 Ohms.


Differential XO 

The VC-827 is designed for applications requiring low phase jitter at high operating temperatures while delivering this performance in a small footprint and at a cost consistent with today’s high volume networking applications. Cross Guide Couplers

Pasternack introduced a new line of cross guide waveguide couplers with 4 port, 3 port and 2 port with coax interface that work across C to K bands. Typical applications include instrumentation, test benches, product development and characterization. The new line consists of 160 parts in three sub-categories: cross guide couplers (4 waveguide ports), cross guide couplers with terminations (3 waveguide ports) and cross guide couplers with terminations and waveguide to coax adapters (2 waveguide ports with either a SMA, type-N or 2.92 mm coaxial connection).
